Bunting Re-Assigned By Arizona To Rush

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Arizona Coyotes, NHL affiliate of the Rapid City Rush, announced today that rookie forward Michael Bunting has been re-assigned from the AHL affiliate, the Springfield Falcons, to the Rush as of this morning.

 

Bunting, a 20 year-old native of Scarborough, Ontario, appeared in just one contest for the Falcons prior to coming to the Black Hills.  The 6’0”, 191-pound forward spent two seasons with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL, amassing 116 points (52 G, 64 Ast) in 105 games played, including a career-year last season as he notched 37 goals and assists for 74 points.  Before hitting the professional ranks, Bunting was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2014 NHL Draft (4thRound-#117).
