Jalon Janke, 16, has lost a leg to cancer, this time he has lung cancer and the family travels to Sioux Falls for treatments . This fundraiser is to help them off set those expenses. Join us for a heartwarming 5K where every step is a stride against lung cancer! Jalon’s courage is our beacon—after beating cancer once, he’s facing the battle again, and we’re rallying to lift the spirits and support for him and his loved ones. We kick off our sneakers and hit the ground running (or walking—no pressure!) at 8 am. Forget about the pressure of time; leave your stopwatch at home because this isn’t about racing to the finish line, it’s about crossing it together for a fantastic cause. The race will start at Old Storybook Island and follow the bike path to Canyon Lake Park, and participants can run or walk.  Lace-up for an unforgettable morning of community, support, and love—this is more than a run, it’s a lifeline!
