Jaguars Defeat Colts in NFL's First International Series Game of 2016

iSTock/Thinkstock(LONDON) — The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Indianapolis Colts 30-27 in the first game of the NFL’s 2016 International Series. The game kicked off at 9:30 Eastern Time from Wembley Stadium in London.

The Jaguars held a 23-6 lead through three quarters, and the Colts tried to mount a comeback but lost in the final seconds of the game, securing Jacksonville’s first win of 2016.

There are two more games scheduled in London this season. The New York Giants face the St. Louis Rams on October 23 at Twickenham Stadium. The NFL returns to Wembley Stadium on October 30th when the Washignton Redskins take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

The league’s International Series concludes on November 21, when the Houston Texans face the Oakland Raiders at Estadio Azeteca in Mexico City. It will be the NFL’s first game in Mexico City since 2005, according to NFL.com.
