Jamie Collins Agrees to Stay in Cleveland

Photodisc/Thinkstock(CLEVELAND) — Linebacker Jamie Collins has agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Cleveland Browns. ESPN reports the deal is worth $50 million, with $26.5 guaranteed.

The $12.5 million extension will make Collins the fourth highest paid linebacker behind Von Miller of the Denver Broncos, Justin Houston of the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers star, Clay Matthews.

Collins started the 2016 season with the New England Patriots and will help them compete for their fifth Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl 51.
