Jerry Jones: Video Showing Ezekiel Elliott at Marijuana Dispensary 'Not Good'

Photo by Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images(DALLAS) — Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones was not happy after video of rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott appearing to visit a marijuana dispensary hours before making his preseason debut was posted by TMZ.

In the video, a man the website says is Elliott was seen at Herban Legends in Seattle. He was not seem making any purchases, however.

While recreational marijuana use is legal in the state of Washington, the substance is still banned by the NFL.

“I think that in an of itself, the reason we are talking about is in a way a part of the learning process,” Jones said after the team’s Thursday night game against the Seattle Seahawks. In the game, Elliott rushed seven times for 48 yards.

“No matter if you played at whatever level, there is a picture here of interest,” Jones added. “I’m aware of it. I heard the report. I would know how he is, and he needs to look at that. And the other thing is it’s just not good.”

The former Ohio State Buckeye was already under investigation by the Columbus, Ohio attorney’s office for an alleged domestic violence incident involving a former girlfriend. He has previously denied those accusations.
