Jimmie Johnson Wins Chase Event at Charlotte

Hemera/Thinkstock(CONCORD, N.C.) — Jimmie Johnson is headed to the third round of the Chase.

He won the Sprint Cup Series’ Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday. The event had been postponed by one day due to rain from Hurricane Matthew.

Johnson led 155 laps en route to his third victory of the season.

The race marked the start of the second round of the Chase, NASCAR’s version of the playoffs.

Here are the top 10 drivers in the Bank of America 500, held at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina:
