Hemera/Thinkstock(JOLIET, Ill.) — Martin Truex Jr. won the first race in the Sprint Cup Series’ Chase on Sunday afternoon.
He took the lead after a late restart to take the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. Joey Logano finished second, followed by Chase Elliott.
NASCAR’s playoffs continue next weekend at New Hampshire.
