Mixed Emotions for Wade's Miami Return

Joe Faraoni/ESPN Images(ATLANTA) – Former Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade is making his first trip back to South Beach after signing a two-year contract with his hometown Chicago Bulls.

After playing with the Heat for 13 seasons, many would think Wade would keep in touch with his former teammates and front office. When it comes to the Heat’s president Pat Riley that is not the case.

“I think you guys know, I haven’t talked to him,” Wade told ESPN on Wednesday. “It’s as simple as that. I think I’ve been very open and honest about my respect and love with Pat. I’ve been honest that I haven’t spoken to him since the season ended.”

While a conversation between Wade and Riley might not happen, a video tribute by the team is expected.
