Harry How/Getty Images(ARLINGTON, Texas) — The Texas Rangers acquired Milwaukee Brewers All-Star Jonathan Lucroy and Brewers reliever Jeremy Jeffress at Monday’s trade deadline, according to ESPN.
Lucroy vetoed a trade to the Cleveland Indians on Sunday morning after he had the team on his no-trade list.
“Now, moving on to the @Rangers let’s take this bad boy to the ‘ship! Really excited and can’t wait to get after it!” he said in a tweet.

Lucroy, 30, is hitting .299 with 13 homers and 50 RBI this season. Right-hander Jeffress, 28, is 2-2 this season with a 2.22 ERA in 47 appearances.
