Report: Braves, Bartolo Colon Reach Agreement on One-Year Deal

Scott Clarke / ESPN Images(ATLANTA) — The Atlanta Braves have reportedly reached an agreement on a deal to bring long-time pitcher Bartolo Colon to its roster.

Sources tell ESPN the contract is for one year and $12.5 million.

The Braves haven’t made an official announcement yet on the move but ESPN reports one is expected sometime next week.

The past season, Colon pitched for the New York Mets, ending with a 15-8 record and a 3.43 ERA. In his 19 seasons in the MLB, the 43-year-old has gone 233-162 with a 3.93 ERA.
