Report: Chargers Agree on Deal to Make Anthony Lynn New Head Coach

Jeff Zelevansky/Getty Images(SAN DIEGO) — A day after announcing their move next season to Los Angeles, the San Diego Chargers have reportedly chosen a new head coach.

A source tells ESPN the team has agreed to a four-year deal with Anthony Lynn, the former interim head coach of the Buffalo Bills.

Lynn, 48, replaces Mike McCoy, who was fired as San Diego’s head coach on Jan. 1, following the team’s 37–27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers ended the season with a 5-11 record, failing to advance to the playoffs.
