Victor Decolongon/Getty Images(SWANSEA, Wales) — The first American has been hired to coach a Premier League club.
Bob Bradley will be the new head coach at Swansea City after the team fired Francesco Guidolin.
Bradley, 58, has coached U.S. Soccer, the Egypt national football team, Norwegian club Stabaek, and French second-tier team Le Havre.
Now he faces the Swans, a team that has won only one of its seven league matches.
His first match as coach will be on Oct. 15 at Arsenal in London.
