Texan Becomes First Bowler in History to Roll Three Consecutive Perfect Games

iStock/Thinkstock(HOUSTON) — Not many people can say they’ve bowled 900, but one man in Texas has become the first person ever in the Lone Star State and only the 29th bowler in recorded history to roll three consecutive perfect 300 games.

According to the United States Bowling Congress, on Nov. 17, Sean Osbourn, 24, of Houston bowled as a substitute in the Copperfield Bowling Center‘s early league session in a USBC-certified competition. He was later asked to fill in for someone on the late session league — and that’s when he bowled his historic games.

Osbourn said, “I couldn’t believe it.  I still can’t. I wasn’t shaking at the end, though. I think I was in shock. It’s great and crazy, and I can’t believe it happened to me. I love bowling and always have, and this is something I’ll never forget.”

Video of Osbourn shows him effortlessly knocking out his last three strikes.
