Vontaze Burfict, Doug Baldwin Fined for Obscene Gestures

Joe Robbins/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin have each been fined by the NFL for flipping the bird last Sunday, according to ESPN.

Sources said the two were hit with a $12,154 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct caught on TV in separate games– Burfict when he put up his middle fingers to the stands in a loss to the Bufalo Bills, and Baldwin for flipping off Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell during the win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Burfict served a three-game suspension at the beginning of the season for violating the NFL’s player safety rules and was fined $75,000 by the league for allegedly stomping on Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount’s leg.

In Baldwin’s case, he said at a press conference later that he and Bevell “joked about it” and the offensive coordinator insisted he and Baldwin “have a great relationship.”
