Washington in Top Four of College Football Playoff Rankings

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) – After being snubbed in last week’s initial College Football Playoff rankings, the Washington Huskies are now in the top four.

Washington joins Alabama, Clemson, and Michigan as the CFP’s four top teams. Texas A&M, who was ranked fourth last week, dropped to eighth following a loss to Mississippi State last Saturday.

On the outside of the CFP’s top four is Ohio State, ranked fifth. The one-loss Buckeyes won big against conference foe Nebraska on Saturday. As for Nebraska, the Huskers fell from No. 10 to No. 19.

Other schools in the top ten include Louisville, Wisconsin, Auburn, and Penn State.
