With victory at Martinsville, Brad Keselowski earns second win of the season

Hemera/Thinkstock(RIDGEWAY, Va.) — Brad Keselowski won for the first time at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, passing Kyle Busch for the last time with 43 laps remaining to take the STP 500.

It also was the first victory for the No. 2 Team Penske Ford at “the Paperclip,” Keselowk’s second win of the season and his fifth top-five finish in six races.

Last year’s winner Busch, who led for 273 of the race’s 500 laps, finished second.

Chase Elliott finished third in the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, followed by Joey Logano in the No. 22 Team Penske Ford and Austin Dillon in the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet.

Next week the Monster Energy Series is in Ft. Worth for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
