Scott Clarke / ESPN Images(BALTIMORE) — The Baltimore Orioles added a left-handed starting pitcher to its roster Sunday night.
The team announced that it reached a deal with the Seattle Mariners to acquire Wade Miley. In exchange, Baltimore will send pitching prospect Ariel Miranda, also a left-hander, to Seattle.
The Orioles have acquired LHP Wade Miley from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for LHP Ariel Miranda.

“Wade Miley is a workhorse, veteran left-handed starter who likes to pitch and compete,” said Dan Duquette, the executive vice president of baseball operations for the Orioles, according to ESPN. “We think he will contribute to this year’s club with some quality innings.”
