Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Furniture Row Racing will field a second team in the Sprint Cup Series next season.
The organization recently announced that Eric Jones will drive its No. 77 Toyota Camry in 2017. 5-hour Energy will be the primary sponsor for the car for 22 races.
Jones, the 2015 Camping World Truck Series champion, said in a statement, “I just can’t believe this is really happening.
“We have been talking about Cup racing for a while, but to actually make the announcement is surreal,” Jones, 20, added.
Martin Truex Jr. currently drives the No. 78 car for Furniture Row.
