Hemera/Thinkstock(LINCOLN, Ala.) — This weekend’s Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway has a new name.
The track has announced that Sunday’s event is now named the Hellmann’s 500, after the mayonnaise brand.
Hellman’s has been involved in NASCAR since 2004.
Sunday’s event is the third and final race of the Round of 12 in the Chase. It will determine the eight drivers who will advance to the next round in NASCAR’s version of the playoffs.
