Barczuk Traded to Fort Wayne

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Rapid City Rush, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, announced today that in another transaction, Daniel Barczuk has been traded to the Fort Wayne Komets in exchange for future considerations.

 

Barczuk spent almost two full seasons in the Black Hills, massing 52 points (34 G, 18 Ast) in 122 games with the Rush.  Before joining the Rush, he spent a season with the CHL’s Denver Cutthroats, scoring 14 goals with 15 assists for 29 points in 45 games while finishing as a finalist for the Ray Miron President’s Cup.  Prior to turning pro, the Livonia, Michigan native played collegiate hockey at Lake Superior State University in the NCAA, and Adrian College in the NCAA D-III ranks.
