DigitalVision/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — A former USA Gymnastics doctor has been charged with sexual assault involving a victim under the age of 13.
It is unclear how Dr. Larry Nassar, who is already facing sexual assault complaints from 36 people over the span of two decades, knew the victim or victims. It is also unclear if he will face additional charges.
Nassar has been accused of improper medical techniques with young gymnasts without chaperones present.
