The Houston Astros defeated the Minnesota Twins with a score of 3-2 in Game 4 of the ALDS on Tuesday, winning the series 3-1 and advancing them to the ALCS for the seventh year in a row.

The Astros’ Michael Brantley and José Abreu homered, and starter Jose Urquidy allowed only three hits in 5 2/3 innings, while the bullpen allowed no hits in 3 1/3 innings to shut down the Twins.

The Astros, who are making their seventh consecutive trip to the ALCS, have won four AL pennants and then went on to win two World Series, including last year. They will face their state rival Texas Rangers in the 2023 ALCS, as the Rangers swept the top-seeded Orioles in the ALDS on Tuesday to advance. The series starts on Sunday in Houston for Games 1 and 2.
