Marek Langhamer Re-Assigned To Rush By Arizona

(RAPID CITY, SD) – The Arizona Coyotes, the NHL affiliate of the Rapid City Rush, announced today that goaltender Marek Langhamer has been re-assigned to the Rush.

 

Langhamer, 21, spent time this season with the AHL affiliate of the Rush, the Springfield Falcons, but did not appear in any games for the club.  He comes to the Rush after a successful three-year career with the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers, where he posted a 30-16-3 record last season along with a 2.81 GAA and .902 SV%.  All-time in his WHL career, the Moravka Trebova, Czech Republic native boasts a 68-32-7 record.  Prior to turning professional, Langhamer was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2012 NHL Draft, the same as Rush defenseman James Melindy, with the 184th overall pick in the 7th round.
