(NEW YORK) — Tiger Woods is choosing TaylorMade as his new brand of golf clubs.
The 41-year-old announced the deal on Twitter Wednesday morning:
After several months of testing and all brands to choose from, the choice is clearly @TaylorMadeGolf. Proud to join the family! -TW pic.twitter.com/Ist3bA5tqN

ESPN reports the new deal covers all clubs minus the putter. It is also simply an endorsement deal with no ties to equity in the company, a TaylorMade spokesman told ESPN.
Woods, who has an endorsement deal with Nike, previously used the company’s equipment. However, Nike opted last year to no longer make golf clubs or balls, opening the door for Woods to test out other brands.
Despite the new deal with TaylorMade, Woods is still expected to wear Nike apparel.
