Joe Faraoni / ESPN Images(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Dallas Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott will not face charges for alleged domestic violence incidents involving a former girlfriend in July.

The Columbus City Attorney’s Office in Ohio said there was “conflicting and inconsistent information,” according to ESPN, and Elliott was “cooperative with the investigation” including providing photographs and witness affadavits.

An NFL source told ESPN the 21-year-old running back is still under review by the league.

Tiffany Thompson’s complaint, filed in July, included allegations of domestic violence on five separate occasions, according to ESPN. Elliott denied the charges at the time.
